As the United States was heading into the Great Depression Everett Green had a vision of how he could survive in troubled times. In 1929 Everett obtained the title of the 304th certified public accountant in the state of Texas. After being a sole practitioner for 27 years he went into partnership with Ross McElreath in 1956 which started the Green & McElreath "Legacy".
Our services include financial statement audits, financial statement reviews, compiled financial statements, agreed upon procedures and financial statement preparation. We perform tax services for individuals, estates, trusts, businesses including corporations, partnerships, sole proprietorships, limited liability companies, tax exempt entities, and state and local tax.

I have used them for a couple of years now to do my taxes - just a simple non-itemized income tax return, nothing out of the ordinary. First year they did a great job for me and the fee was reasonable. Second year - completely different story. When I asked quesitons about how to fine tune my W2 and a few other small things to help me not have to write a check again - was completely blown off and my question was never even answered.
Then I get the invoice for doing my taxes - 50% increase over the year before for essentially the same amount of work. If you have a lot of money, I'm sure they love you. If you are a regular Joe - dont' waste your time with them, because rest assured - they won't spend any real time with you.
