6/10 UPDATE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE don't ever use Conrad Craig & Martin. I thought Todd was great, until he messed up our taxes. Try to get ahold of him, messages full for 2.5 months now, unable to leave one. He messed up our SSN on our paperwork, told me I didn't need to complete K10 (?) tax return for my moms home. If I didn't go to another accountant, i would have been penalized. (Like many other clients.please review yelp!)I found him on FB and sent a message too.

We had to pay another $300 each to have our taxes redone. It's ridiculous! He was a referral from long time clients, which is even worse! After all of this I did contact BBB and found that he has seven complaints in two years.how mad does one have to be to look up info on BBB? Well, when you haven't received your money, paid $600 to have taxes done, no response from business owner and a possibility of being penalized? Dozens and dozens of calls with no response. All I have to say, if you are a long time client and refer people to Todd, you might want to rethink that!

We've been going to Todd for our state & federal taxes for over 20 years. I've never had an issue with Todd, or his professional knowledge/abilities. If you have ridiculously simple taxes and prioritize convenience over quality advice, then maybe one of the big tax preparer companies (H&R Block/TurboTax) might be your thing. We like using an experienced, competent professional. So we will continue using Todd for as long as he's in business.

Horrible service. Avoid this place at all costs. No returned phone calls or emails. You can't get a hold of anyone after tax season despite the message to send an email. This business used to be wonderful, but with the passing of the senior accountants, Todd is inept and completely non-responsive.

This place is terrible. Todd did some downright illegal things when filing my taxes like claiming someone that makes over $50,000/year as a dependent and trying to claim an education credit for 1 person on 2 separate returns. Consequently, I received a bill from the IRS stating I owed them thousands of dollars. I ended up paying it right away because you can't get a hold of anyone at this place unless it's tax season.

They don't answer the phone, and do not respond to emails. When I approached Todd about this, he was defensive and said that we have 2 years to make arrangements suggesting that this was no priority to him. The place is a dump and it is as shady as it looks.

Stole all my documents and then never returned my phone calls. I eventually found out that he never even filed my taxes so now I have hundreds of dollars in penalties and interest. I have filed a formal complaint with the IRS, along with many, many others. Hopefully the IRS will take care of him.

Have brought my taxes here for yearsw. Working with Kim I have never had a problem.

Todd was my accountant. He is also a complete jerk. I've gone to this firm for over 25 years and he took my documents, wouldn't return them or my emails, letters & phone calls that I left for several months. I also wanted to know if he at least filed my taxes. It turned out he didn't file them so I owe hundreds in penalties and interest. How can he be allowed to continue doing this to people? What a nightmare!

We met with Todd back in March and have been trying to confirm our paperwork since then. No returned phone calls or emails. We never received our return so our assumption is that he never filed. Since dropping off our signed documents in March there has been no correspondence. It appears this isn't the first time this has happened. How frustrating.

My family has used CC&M for twenty years. This year the accountant Todd decided to not file my mothers taxes. We have been trying to get a hold of him or anyone for four months. They won't return phone calls or emails. She can't get her things to have someone else do her taxes. Do not use them.

I'm very disappointed in this firm. I have repeatedly called, left messages AND emailed Kim trying to resolve an issue where she misfiled my out of state taxes and it's been 2 months with no response. I even when so far to say I'd like an appointment (we live in Geneva so it's at a minimum a 3 hr event ) and still no response.

Been getting my taxes done by the family owned business for years. Dating back to one of the originals (Conrad). I have recommended a handful of close family and friends to Todd and kim recently who have walked away very please in the amount of care that goes in! Front desk Associates are warm and welcoming and always be sure that we walk out of the office with everything we need. Could not say better things.

Todd was our accountant and despite having all of our tax documents / records / papers by mid-February, failed to complete and file our taxes. Phone messages, e-mails, and formal letters via US postal service were not returned and neither were our records or documents. After April 16th, the office was empty - only an answering machine directing callers to leave a message and/or email Todd or Kim. Todd never filed, never responded to me (or my attorney) and in the end cost us $$$ in late filing fees at the federal and state level.

This was tough for me to understand because he was our accountant for many years. After reading through previous reviews, it seems I'm not the only one who was forgotten then ignored (see Oscar 2011).

I don't doubt their knowledge on the subject but their response time and general lack of availability is unparalleled. Plenty of other accountants out there who know their stuff and aren't impossible to get feedback and advisement from.

Our family has been coming here for generations. We wouldn't think of going anywhere else. Todd & Kim are exceptional and up to date with all tax rules. You won't go wrong coming here.

I have been going to Conrad, Craig, & Martin for over a decade and always found their work to be precise and expedient. By this point, my return is basically the same every year but they still take the time to review all of the detail. Throughout the year they are responsive to any questions I might have regarding how things could affect my future return.

CCM did an excellent job in preparing my taxes for 20 years. Somethings have changed over the last few years. I know that is family operated and in two successive years, tragically, two of the family members that were key, passed away leaving just one to continue the day to day duties. I, too, had no success getting responses to multiple contacts via email and phone to the point where I had to find a new tax prep provider for tax year 2011. Appears that given the tragic losses, CCM has either stopped providing services or has decided to keep a only a small number of past clients and has not done a good job with communicating this to clients they had served in the past.
