Mr. Franklin has been working as an Accountant for over 50 years and he founded the practice over 35 years ago. His practice focuses on Audits and Reviews of Churches and other nonprofit organizations, as well as income tax preparation for individuals and businesses. He has an extensive background in nonprofit accounting, having served as a financial associate for Lilly Endowment Inc. in Indianapolis, IN and as Vice President of Finance for the PTL Television Network.His experience includes a full range of nonprofit accounting.
Mr. Franklin's practice focuses on Individual and Small Business Taxation as well as nonprofit organizations. Matthew began apprenticing under his father full time in 1998 after working in industry for two years and having already graduated from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte in another field.
Financial accountability, or the lack thereof, has been in the headlines for the last several years. The need for financial accountability is a paramount responsibility. Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward.

I needed a CPA to do my taxes and was referred to Franklin and Franklin. Called to set up an appointment with them in August/September time frame.they couldn't make it, they were too busy. Rescheduled twice after that (I travel and couldn't make the appointments). Receptionist/Office Manager tried lecturing me on skipping appointments before I hung up.
Funny how my doctor or dentist can reschedule multiple times with me, or for me, but this CPA firm is too busy and important to do that. Seriously, go somewhere else where you can get better customer service. This firm obviously has plenty of business and doesn't need more.
