We are a small non profit water utility in Weld County Colorado. As such, there are statutes that determine audit requirements. We were under the impression that an annual audit was required so for years we engaged an auditor. Spending over $7000 each year. Turns out this is not a requirement for our organization. Why, through JDS's process was this not brought to our attention? Getting JDS to return calls is similar to trying to get through to the IRS or Social Security.

We experienced considerable bookkeeping issues and cash flow problems. Issues that got identified and corrected by a bookkeeper and a member of our community. Never identified in any audit done by JDS. But, the pictures show, they have a beautiful office. Busy decorating instead of offering good service I guess. Or going on extended vacations, as we found out the hard way. I am sure JDS will tell you that high accounting bills are a good write off.

This firm has a unique way of overcharging and underdelivering, yet treating you very poorly. Tony Salazar is one of the most rude, condescending and unhelpful CPAs you will ever meet in your life. I cannot believe that a firm employees someone like him and expects to retain customers. Please take my advice and avoid this firm at all costs, they are just not worth it.

I had used this group for several years have always thought their prices were high but I trusted my family friend who was the accountant who did trust taxes and used their services for liability purposes and when she could no longer do this, I was trying my best to keep good records and the first 2 years the charge was 38% of the total increase of trust the 3 year I got nailed for a whopping 68% that they took from the gross profit! Beware their only interest is profit for themselves PERIOD! NOT A GOOD FIDUCIARY!

Everyone at JDS is nice to work with and I recommend them to anyone.

I came here about a year ago recently visited the Denver area once again came here after a 11 hour drive from Mason city Iowa (from working all day) an was greeted a treated like I was a regular here. from then on me an my co workers would come there every night to eat an have that relaxing drink or two followed with a shot. bartenders were right on point new what we drank an even ate an had us seats open an food ordered in a hurry. Never a empty glass or even a dry conversation.
