I hired them to help me file my USA and UK taxes. Great first impression, but after that it turned out to be horrible. Poor communication, missed initial deadline, told me my return is "almost ready" and said i overpaid taxes where in fact I owed a lot of money (sic). And the terribly sketchy billing "method" - they sent me invoice for double of amount to what was agreed upfront, backdated several months to incur "interest charges" and when I tried to dispute it, stopped replying to my emails. I ended up looking for a legal advice on how to deal with them.

Nicole Neglia, the Company's Talent Acquisition Manager, scheduled a phone interview with me on August 3rd, confirming it would take place on August 5th. It would have been totally normal, had she cancelled it in advance. However, she had no courtesy to cancel the interview and never called me at the designated time. I went through my emails back and forth, yet did not find any cancellation emails from her.
I wrote to her twice on the day of the interview, naively thinking if it had been rescheduled. No reply. Almost 36 hours later, in the evening of the following day, she finally wrote that "based on some new information" she chose to cancel the interview. That email was sent at 9:26 pm on August 6th. I replied back, saying that it would've been nice and professional to cancel it in advance, and I cced some people from the department.
It was easy to find their email addresses. Almost 2 hours later, Ms. Neglia sent an insulting reply, "proving" she had sent a cancellation email on August 4th, and she "added" it underneath her email". However, anyone could see how childish and silly it was done. 1). First of all, the "supposedly forwarded" email did not include "--------- Forwarded message ---------".
It was just plainly typed text (from: to: subject:) 2). Secondly, Nicole did not even bother changing the time of her email. She copied it from the one sent on August 6th at 9:26 pm. The "newly-crafted" email said: "August 4th 9:26 pm" with the same exact text from August 6th (is she sending emails only at 9:26 pm?); and 3). Finally, no email from August 4th was ever discovered from her neither in my "indox, " nor in my "trash" or "spam" folders.
I realize that me including her supervisors made her shake, and she instantly had to come up with a defense strategy. Alas, this defense turned out to be times worse than the initial lack of cancellation of our interview. By crafting the fake cancellation email that she had never sent, she showed a total lack of respect not only to potential candidates, but also to her own colleagues and supervisors, considering everyone to be hopelessly stupid.
In addition, instead of apologizing, Nicole insulted me twice in her emails. If this is their Talent Acquisition Management, I am afraid to think what kind of credible and professional company this is.

This firm is horrible. Their customer service is horrible. Their Tax accounting is under par and not all the partners are 100% accurate on tax laws. This is one area that you hire someone that you need to trust is going to do the right thing, but not this place. The partner we had was great at the beginning but then it turned sour which we ended up getting another partner which he was very rude (honestly an ass).
We did not receive the complete services from them that we asked for and they did things we asked them not to do, but this second partner was so money hungry (which by the way, he did not know the whole circumstances that we had encountered) that he did not even care what we received or not, he wanted all of the money with no discount. Come to find out the people we even referred to go there too, also are going thru the same thing with the same people.
I am speechless with this place. All of us will make sure everyone - from all parts of the world (since they are a large corporate company) know how horrible this place is and not go there! :-(
