Great firm that is very knowledgeable for our complicated returns. We have been with Cindy for a couple years now and are very happy with the services we have received.

Professional, friendly, knowledgeable. Karin is a true master of accounting and her office runs like clockwork. I don't know what I would do without them!

Rosa has done my personal income taxes for the past two years. Very easy process and extremely professional. Well worth the money in my opinion for the sound financial advice and knowledge of tax laws. Highly recommended!

Make sure you do the consultation with them before signing any documents. They charged $575 for a simple tax return. FYI, all they did was prepare the form. Wanted them to see if I qualify for the foreign earned income tax but they didn't know that since they didn't do a consultation until AFTER they prepared the regular tax return. Save yourself $545 and do your taxes online. Legal scam artists.

I've gone to Karin for years for my taxes and have always been happy with her services. Her business has expanded greatly over the years, and I'm so pleased she's doing well! I recommend her without hesitation.

I've been working with Langwasser for over 5 years (personally and with my LLC) and I can unabashedly say that they are an amazing group of people. I refer colleagues, friends and family whenever I can because I am very comfortable knowing how their business will be handled. I recently had to request a letter from my CPA while going through the home purchase process, and I needed it within 24 hours or else escrow would've been pushed back a week (costing at least hundreds of dollars), I called and Jackie and Karin were on it like white on rice.

I called at 3:00 on a Tuesday, and had the letter by 8:30 am Wednesday morning. If you're a business owner and needing a new CPA, or want a fresh set of eyes on your books I'd get an appointment with them ASAP.

Several years ago, I was referred to Karin by a family friend. Since then, she has provided reliable and accurate accounting and tax services for myself and my businesses. The reports sent to me every quarter are very clear and the attention to detail is fantastic. Every item that I send in is addressed and her office is more than willing to reach out for more information so that things are recorded properly.

I really appreciate that kind of thoroughness. I look forward to my tax appointment every year. Karin is extremely easy to talk to and is always happy to patiently explain anything that I don't understand (which is a lot when it comes to these kinds of things). On top of her professionalism and volumes of knowledge on all things tax, Karin is so kind.

She remembers and asks about my kids every year even though she's never even met them. Even the receptionists make a point to go out of their way and make sure everything is taken care of before and after the appointment. That's real customer service if you ask me. To be honest, it makes me sad that I only get to visit the office once a year! If you're in the market for a CPA, I highly recommend Karin.

Unfortunately, Karin provided the worst professional experience that I have had to date. I hired her two years ago to help with my business and personal taxes for self and entire family. I sent clients her way in that time period as well. Unfortunately, Karin doesn't take time to review all the information provided and leaves a lot for her staff to do.

She ultimately doesn't see the big picture which creates issues in the long run. She has made several mistakes on my taxes that my financial advisor found, did not follow up on missing info, ignored information provided and made decisions that were quite unethical without discussing first which we did not agreed to. It seems like the only thing she cares about is making a buck with no regard for her customers.

Outside of being unethical, not service oriented at all, her ego is so huge that you are not allowed to question her or she gets really testy and actually allows herself to raise her voice as well. Do not trust her with something as important as your financial well being and safety.

I have been with Karin for about 15 years now, she is hands down thee most knowledge, awesome CPA ever. I've recently heard some horror stories of other people's experiences with their CPA. I felt compelled to speak on the awesome level of service you get Langwasser and Co. she takes her time to explain things to you and give you advice to plan for a better future at this point she is more a part of the family I see once a year.

I have referred many friends and family members here and all say she is hands down the best. If you are fortunate enough to work with Karin, you will not be disappointed. Thank you Karin, for always being so amazing and patient with me, see you next month! If I could give you 10 stars, I would!

My wife and I started working with Cindy Agostini from Langwasser & Co. a couple years ago for standard tax preparation. Last year, we were randomly selected for a detailed IRS audit (for a tax year before we had started working with Langwasser & Co.). An IRS audit is extremely stressful, even if you've done nothing wrong. In our first call with Cindy, she laid out the entire audit process and what to expect at each step along the way.

Everything she predicted was exactly correct. Throughout the process, it was clear that Cindy was looking after our interests to the fullest extent possible. There's no one I'd rather have represent me if I ever had to go through it again.

Thank you Cindy from Langwasser for clarifying the differences between an employee and a subcontractor. I was able to restructure my contracts to help avoid EDD problems in the future. As an employer with subcontractors, this information is invaluable to me. If you are looking for accounting or tax help, the folks at Langwasser know their stuff.

I've had a few CPA's over the years and no one has done a better job than Karen Langwasser and associates. They take the time to know you and your business and find the best way to save you money. I highly recommend them to anyone. Also, Shawn is amazing and my go to accountant.

They're fast, extremely knowledgeable, and really know how to help their clients navigate the tricky issues that businesses face with accounting, finances and even M&A. While not the cheapest firm, you get what you pay for with their people, knowledge and services. The cost savings you may get with another firm could end up costing you exponentially more without the experts at Langwasser by your side. If peace-of-mind and a solid bottom-line with no bloated expenses is important to you, than you will appreciate this firm.

When my mother passed away, I needed some advice on her trust. Langwasser & Company CPAs charged me over $200 for less than one hour of verbal advice. I was told that just to get something called an EIN, it would cost over $1000. I later found out an attorney would have done the same thing for less than half. The attorney told me it only takes a couple of weeks to get an EIN.

It took Langwasser & Company CPAs over 3 months. I had 3 tax returns to prepare: mine, my mother's and the trust. I was charged over $3000. I gave Langwasser & Company CPAs all the necessary paperwork in December, and they barely made the April 15th cut off. They wanted me to file an extension so that they could make even more money. In June, I received yet another bill from them, claiming that I owed over $200 more.

They made up fake invoices, claiming never agreed upon services. They also threatened to just charge my credit card. When I was getting my taxes done, they rarely returned phone calls. When they tried to extort more money from me after my taxes were complete, they wouldn't stop calling. I refused to talk to them over the phone; because I wanted everything documented.

It makes me sick to think that there are predatory companies that prey on the vulnerability of others. Inevitably tragedy will strike these individuals. I hope that they receive the same treatment that they practice. For the sake of your loved ones, please do not use their services.

Ok, Karin is very efficient and her staff is extremely efficient as well. I have had my taxes done with a previous company and although I have nothing negative to say about them my change to Karin was the absolutely right move. Karin is also handling some other business related to consulting and I have no doubt she will continue to do a great job in that capacity as well. Karin cuts to the chase.

She is prepared, the office is prepared, and what I love about her office and Karin is that they are extremely proficient and seem to value time. Nothing worse than sitting in an office and waiting, and waiting.

They were extremely helpful for some freelance bookkeeping in the past, but charged us $350 for a 15-minute appointment to do simple taxes this year. Just a few W-2's, no itemization, no side business any more, no stock sales, etc., but wouldn't budge on the preparation price. We won't be back.
