Rodger O. Howells is the sole-member of Rodger O. Howells, LLC and has been a certified public accountant in New Hampshire since 1989. Rodger is an adjunct instructor of taxation at the New Hampshire Technical Institute. He has been published in the New Hampshire Practice Series: Family Law, Fourth Edition (Volume 3 and 3A) and has spoken at numerous seminars for attorneys on tax issues.

Cash payments made by businesses to entities not taxed as corporations are required to be reported to the IRS if the payments exceed $600 during the 2021 calendar year. Payments to attorneys exceeding $600 are required to be reported to the IRS regardless of the tax status of the payee. Cash payments include payments made by check.
PPP Loans can be forgiven if used for payroll and certain overhead expenses. Numerous banks have been sending out information about the forgiveness process. We expect the information required to be submitted to banks will change in the near future. Please do not apply for PPP loan forgiveness at this time.
