Lefstein-Suchoff & Associates

I would like to update this review due to the fact that "the response from the owner" is incorrect. I have an email thread of the 1099 in question being sent to Sandy Suchoff prior to conducing our tax return. This firm and specifically Sandy Suchoff's refusal to admit an error is concerning. I highly suggest to anyone considering this firm to look elsewhere!

I do not recommend anyone to utilize the services of Sandy Suchoff and the Lefstein-Suchoff CPA & Associates firm. Our 2016 tax return was audited by the IRS. After review, it became apparent that the Sandy Suchoff and her staff only included part of one of the 1099's that we provided to her. After following up with Sandy, her staff responded that she never received the 1099. First, how could they claim that she never received it when it was partially included in our return. Secondly, I also forwarded an email (copying Sandy) where the 1099 was actually provided to her.

At that point, the staff responded for an additional fee, they would resubmit our return for us. At NO point did Sandy even respond. I requested a response and a phone call from Sandy mulitple times. Quite frankly, why should a client have to pay additional charges for a mistake that this firm made? At this point, we need to pay for the fine and the additional interest for a mistake from this CPA firm. Sandy still has yet to contact me on the error that her firm has made. I recommend anyone considering to use this firm for their tax returns to avoid them!

After being many years with one CPA I was apprehensive about changing and going to Lefstein Suchoff CPA. They came highly recommended. I'm very happy I did. They cleared up some problems I had with my business-they filed past corporate returns and individual returns and were even able to negotiate with the IRS on my behalf very successfully. I am forever in debt it to Sandy Suchoff CPA and her amazing staff. Sandy is extraordinarily intelligent and knowledgeable and caring and even witty at times. Her staff was always very friendly and attentive and responsive. You will be in good hands at their firm.

Horrible! No words can describe my experience with that person! Stay away! We were working with her since 2015, but got so tired of getting the worst service ever! not responsive, she never call back when there issues about her bed job. We got fined because of her. She never takes responsibility about her actions she blames the client about her mistakes. She changed us with out our consent, when we ask her about the charge she lies about the reason for the changes. We tried to get our books from her and it was a nightmare.

Awesome, awesome awesome. Beyond professional. Extremely responsive and the staff is very attentive. They not only prepare everything for my company's bookkeeping, payroll & taxes brilliantly, but they saved me a lot on my taxes with their strategies. They are by far the best CPA firm I have used and I would never use another firm. I highly recommend them.

I am very happy with my experience with Lefstein-Suchoff CPA & Associates. I owed a lot of money for back taxes to the IRS. I didn't have the money to pay what I owed. After talking with Sandy we decided to do an offer in compromise. It took a few months for the IRS to process it, but in the end Sandy got it accepted for me. I can honestly say that I don't think another accountant would have been able do what Sandy was able to. She got my back taxes reduced to about 5% of what I owed. I am truly grateful for her persistence on my behalf.
