Since our founding in 1919, we have been dedicated to conducting the practice of accounting predicated upon the highest professional and ethical standards, providing quality service to all clients, and affording professional care. Our clients are our only barometer of success. As such, they must hold us to the highest standards of excellence.
Ed started with Byxbee Company in 1977 after graduating from the University of Connecticut and has been a principal since 1986. Ed's clients include closely held businesses of all sizes including manufacturers, contractors and individuals. Ed attends to both accounting and tax issues for all of his clients and frequently works with owners of new businesses to add growth and value.
The founder of our firm, Theodore M. Byxbee, was born in Peekskill, NY in 1860 and a year later his family moved to Meriden, CT. Theodore's father, John C. Byxbee, was the High Sheriff of New Haven County prior to service with the United States Treasury. Theodore followed his father into federal government service.
