In the beginning there was one Phillips. Russ Phillips Sr. founded the firm in 1975 as a solo practitioner in Canton, Ohio. By 1984 his son Russ Jr. had joined the firm and we soon became Phillips & Phillips Certified Public Accountants. Two years later, in 1986 they bought out another two-partner practice in the Canton area and embarked on a steady growth curve. Along the way Russ Jr. added the title Certified Valuation Analyst to his name after undergoing special training in business valuation consulting.

We are a multi-partner firm with multi-talents. Our five principals have all enjoyed successful business careers and become valued business advisors to a wide range of clients.
