I would have given a negative rating if that existed on google reviews and here is the reason for it. My friend referred me to Greatways Tax service to file my corp tax (1120) and since this was the initial return for my corporation, I wanted an experienced, knowledgable and reliable account but it turned out these guys don't have any knowledge about corporation tax including how to file treaty based filing for any corporation.
In addition the customer has to keep calling them repeatedly in order to get the things moving or to take updated about his file as they never return to customer call and the account you are dealing with will email you thing when he/she see fits his/her schedule. In my case I was kept in dark or rather in a limbo state for almost 2 weeks about whats happening with my file and finally I had to drop them and went with other account and since they wasted a lot of time, I had to file extension with IRS in order to avoid any penalties. I would never recommend them to anyone.

I was referred to Greatway Tax Service Inc by a family friend. I had no issues last year (being a first time client). However, this year, when requesting a follow up to some questions I had about this year's filing, no one has called or emailed me after my attempts to follow up both via email and phone. On Saturday 04/09/2022, a nice gentleman had picked up the phone on behalf of Pramod and took my information down.
He had said that Pramod would get back to me later that day to give me a call back. He did not. Today 04/12/2022 - I had emailed and called for a follow up again since I was not met with any information since Saturday. Unfortunately, I was met on the phone by a Ms. Apita? Hapita? The receptionist of this firm. She refused to spell her name out for me, and said it is "spelt how it sounds." Anyways, I had asked if anyone was able to contact me regarding my questions since I had already called and emailed since Saturday 04/09/2022.
She kept repeating herself over and over, they will email, they will email. I said: "Yes, ma'am I understand but I have not received any follow up in the last 3 days. I would like to know the status of my file and if anyone could get back to me regarding my questions." She tells me: "I am not going to take your information down, they can just email you." I replied to her: "Ma'am, I would appreciate if someone could please get back to me.
Per typical customer service, could you please take my information down?" She continued to refuse, and continued to speak to me condescendingly. Until toward the end of the call she says: "Fine what do you want from me." I said to her, "to please take my information down so that someone can give me a call." She says: "Ok" Then hangs up the phone. Fast forward, I give the firm another call to try and give my information since I was hung up on.
The same receptionist answers and says: "I have other calls to tend to, " and hangs up again. I call one more time trying to give my information. I am sent to voicemail so I give up. Only to find she has returned my call. So, I call her back, try to give her my name, and phone number, only to be met with I already have it, it's on caller ID your name is: (Insert Caller ID Name) I had to correct her and say no that is not my name.
She could not be bothered. Hung up on me again. Twice in one afternoon. Hung up on twice. No follow ups since Saturday 04/09/2022, even though the website claims that they are operating on weekends as well as weekdays. I understand this is busy season. Each person's workplace has a busy season. But customer service should not be this horrid.

Its the worst place to get your taxes services. They charge for services which are not applicable. I was charged for payroll services for the whole year where they only ran them for two months. They charged all kind of fees, misguided me throughout the year and refused submit business taxes. Pramod doesn't get on the phone if you have any questions but when it comes to their payments he will call. He is very unprofessional person and argues without listening what other person has to say. I would suggest do not go to this place.

I have been using their services for the past 5 years and Pramod does a great job explaining complex concepts & specific case related items diligently and has streamlined the processes. I have been associate with Pramod past 5 years every year my individual tax returns filling by Greatways Tax Service. They are providing very good customer support on time able to file my returns and getting some refund benefits, they do tax planning and good knowledge in that area.
