My accountant of many years, Edward Fox, died several years ago. Apparently, he sold his practice to Shalik Morris. I have tried to work with Erica Shalik since his death, but can only say that she has no concept of the meaning of customer service. I've put up with her temper for years, but this year was the straw that broke the camel's back.
Not only did I receive no call or communication that I had a $10,000 tax bill, but when I dared to question what was going on around July 10, I was forced to wire payment of $900 for preparation of a simple return before she would file that return and deign to return my paperwork to me. Despite having assured me that they would return my paperwork weeks ago, nothing has been returned nor does Erica respond to my inquiries. If you want to work with and pay premium prices for an unprofessional and unpleasant accountant, I can highly recommend this organization.
