They were our company account for decades and after our company closed in 07. I personally continued to use their service for my personal tax preparation. My taxes were done professionally and correctly every year since 2008 till this year 2021. I will continue to use this company because I trust them in every thing tax related. Past and current tax laws.

They are always well informed of all new tax laws that we the American people need to be aware of. This is a very upstanding and amazing company to hire for business and personal tax preparation. When it is tax time, it can take a little longer to get your taxes. I figure it is because they are extremely busy working on possibly hundreds of accounts. I expect to pay a good price for the hard work they do to get me the best return possible.

It took this accounting firm WAY too much time to do my simple taxes. They then charged me an outrageous amount. Horrible customer service, especially to a returning customer.

This firm bailed me out of not one but TWO claims by the IRS that I owed them money for two very different and VERY confusing claims which were not related to my tax returns. I have no idea what I would have done without them. IRS demanded $17,000 in 2014 and $50,000 in 2015. CHV did amazing research and wrote a very detailed and professional response which got the IRS off my back which resulted in my owing nothing. CHV charged a very reasonable fee and were very sympathetic and supportive and responsive throughout. They are also very prompt, professional and reasonable in preparing my taxes every year.

Horrible from the start. Little to no customer service. I asked numerous times each year on how much CHV was going to charge but CHV said they would "take care of me" End of the year I was slapped with a fat bill that was far above the going rate. Tax filing were turned in late despite everything being turned in on time. Impossible to get a hold of anyone at CHV that can make a decision. 2/3 people I worked with at CHV left. What you expect out of an accounting firm you will not receive at CHV. All three of my family members now have left.
