At Nagel & Padilla we work with our clients to develop strategies for the challenges they face and to meet the goals they set. Then we roll up our sleeves and get down to business. We have been serving the Rogue Valley as Certified Public Accountants and Business Advisors since 1987. The majority of our practice is referred by our existing clients who value our expertise, integrity, responsiveness, quality and efficiency.
Nagel & Padilla, LLC is one of the most successful accounting firms in the Rogue Valley. Our firm was founded in 1987 and we have been providing consulting, bookkeeping, payroll, and tax preparation services for more than 30 years. We are proudly entering our 13th year as an internship affiliate for SOU accounting students.
Preparing your own income tax return can be a task that leaves you with more questions than answers. According to a study released by the US Government's General Accounting Office last year, most taxpayers (77% of 71 million taxpayers) believe they benefited from using a professional tax preparer. Whether we like it or not, today's tax laws are so complicated that filing a relatively simple return can be confusing.

I couldn't agree more with all the people who wrote bad reviews. Some of the people are nice, but the bad apple in the bunch is Really bad. I got into an argument over the phone with him when I pointed out that I had already paid a bill that they sent me again. Rather than apologizing he got more and more arrogant, rude and dismissive, shouting at me and finally saying that he would never work with me again. I just said ditto. GOOD RIDDANCE TO BAD RUBBISH! Don't waste your time with this guy!

I agree with Sharon. The staff at Nagel is extremely courteous and helpful except for one bad apple. I've used the firm for a decade and called one day to ask about tax matters regarding my mom's estate. No mention was made about charging me for the call. A month later I got a bill. I called to protest, and this bad apple apologized for not disclosing that I would be charged. Still, he remained arrogant and obstinate, refusing to get rid of the charge.

I thought about calling the Better Business Bureau but had too many family matters to deal with at the time. I've decided I can no longer send my business to this firm because of one rotting apple.

I absolutely 100% agree with Sharon. The team at the front desk that I sat with for 10 minutes seemed very kind. And I'm sure there are people behind the scenes who run the business well. But that welcome wagon partner, Glen, that they have chosen to (I can only guess) screen their new clients is a terrible, pretentious and angry man who is unbelievably rude and condescending.

I wouldn't sit down and speak with him for another 10 minutes if HE paid ME. I carved out time in my over extended schedule to come to their office with the intention of spending thousands of dollars on advice and left feeling like a jerk who somehow had wasted HIS time. Unreal. And not a credit to this amazing town at all.

I had to find a new firm when my accountant died, and nagel and Padilla were gracious enough help me through the transition. They are professional, and experts in their field. They have a great crew of knowledgable staff. I look forward to working with them for many years. I've recommended them to friends, and we have all been pleased and satisfied with their work.

I have complicated filing issues, multiple states, trust accounts, investment accounts, farming account, multiple rental properties. They handle it all! Love these guys! (And gals!)

There are some really nice, knowledgeable people here, but one of the partners is horrendous, rude, petty, supercilious. If you can avoid him, it should be fine. If not, RUN.

Came to a small town to purchase a wonderful small business and drove off not one, not two, but THREE of my friends by being rude, aggressive, and generally nasty. Not in this town, it won't fly. The office manager actually hung up TWICE on one of my best friends citing that they are not "information" they are an accounting firm. Who do they think they are? I'm just one person and I don't know too many, but those that I do know are jumping off of their sinking ship.

Hard to believe that they'll survive in this small market, you just don't get to talk to people that way and gain new clients that brag about you. There are too many warm and caring firms to even consider taking such a risk. DON'T DO IT!
