I don't know how else to warn people not to use these guys. If I could give this firm a negative star I would. We are small business owners and need a lot of help with taxes and bookkeeping. I have a laundry list of things this firm has done to lose our business in the last year. 1. We were told someone would manage our Quickbooks and send us monthly statements.
Our Quickbooks were reviewed TWICE in one year and only after my insistence. 2. We have 4 tax entities. It's mid August and only 1 has been filed. It was also filed with errors. 3. I was charged a $200 increase ($400 more than what was quoted) for same return filed with an error with NO explanation for the increase. 4. I received a bill for $2,500 for the entity in which no one has monitored Quickbooks or filed a return with vague item descriptions such as "Outsourcing" and "Tax Compliance." 5.
I have sent dozens of emails to our CPA with information I spent hours collecting only for him to ask for said items again. This was after MONTHS of not responding. 6. I've talked to an office manager and a managing partner who said they would "get to the bottom" of why our returns still haven't been filed and would "call me back personally." I'm still waiting on a call back.
It's been 3 weeks since the last call. 7. Here's one of my favorites: my emails to our CPA now come back as being blocked! Please know we are not high maintenance people. We know we aren't the biggest client they have. Honestly, if we'd gotten a response letting us know they had a few people before us we'd have been fine with that. There has been almost NO communication.
After no communication from March to June, we've been told 4 times our returns are almost finished. Still, none except the one filed in error have been completed. These people have stalled bank loans, legal documents, and 401k plan administration needs.
