Do not work with Jack and Franklin Management. They were a total nightmare, and even though I've switched over to another much more professional agency, the damage they caused still lingers today. I had to cut the cord and drop them with work being unfinished with countless mistakes leftover. The new company has been going back over a year to clean up their mess. Jack's team would guess where to class your expenses and put them in the dumbest places instead of asking or doing a review.
They were months behind. The months they did reconcile, they left nasty balances lingering. They were super unsafe with password storage, it was mind boggling. Payments for critical bills were not marked as paid, they were just entered as journal entries, leaving over $500k of unapplied payments. They loved doing things as journal entries with no memo instead of the correct way. Bills were not processed on time resulting in repeated late payments and penalty fees to multiple vendors. Thousands in fees for being late to some. I knew I shouldn't work with Jack the moment I met him, but he was referred to me by someone who I trusted at the time. I should have trusted my instincts and ran away.

10+ stars! Look no further! Months ago we were looking for a new tax accountant, numerous colleges (business owners) told us about Franklin Management. After all owners raving about the entire staff also accounting services offered at Franklin Management, we decided to have a meeting to see if they were able to assist us with our business. For clearing up our past tax accountants errors, to handling our current taxes moving forward, etc.
Of course they are able to assist us, immediately seen how clean their entire office is, attentive staff plus their location is at a prime industrial location in Pleasanton! We are beyond happy with Franklin Management, not sure why other people gave bad reviews, that makes no sense! They are the best around!

I guess they are not interested in new clientele. I reached out twice trying to set up a meeting. Spoke to a nice women on the phone both times. The women over the phone said a guy named Jack would call to set up an appointment. I waited 10 days with no reply. I called again. Same deal. Talked to the receptionist again and she assured someone would call to set up a time but a week later I still haven't received a call. Bad business

Avoid like the plague! Absolutely unprofessional; first said to wait for 3 weeks to file documents for no apparent reason. then, when time was up, lost my data (said computer crushed; no backup for customer data?); did not call me about that and invited to start the process again (which I refused, of course). They should be banned from professional service.

Jack Harrington has been preparing my tax return for over five years. I have been very pleased with his professionalism, expertise and excellent customer service from him and his entire staff. I have called or emailed him with questions and he has responded immediately and welcomes an appointment if necessary. I trust Jack completely and if your looking for a tax accountant, give Jack a call. Best decision I made after calling several preparers.

I was hesitant to bring in someone to do my bookkeeping but after meeting with Jack and his team I decided to go for it.and i'm so glad I did! Not only do they save me the constant headache of handling my own bookkeeping but they are so pleasant to work with. Jack saved us thousands of $$$$! We had failed to file our taxes on time and began to receive threatening letters from the IRS letting us know that we were being fined. What we thought was just a little mistake began to get scary. We went to see Jack and he let us know that he should be able to clear this up, but it will take time, so be patient. Jack took the time to work with us and keep us calm, and sure enough, after about 6 months we received a letter from the IRS letting us know that our fine was reduced to ZERO! Franklin Tax Service delivered on what they said they would do and they have our business going forward. Thank you Jack!

Jack and Sandra are about as good as it gets! Word that spring to mind are: Efficient, Great Value, Timely, Responsive and Meticulous. We just filed our taxes, both personal and professional, for the year and both Jack and Sandra were quick at getting back to us and made themselves readily available to us when we had questions. My husband and I recommend them wholeheartedly and encourage anyone in need of a "tax man" to give Franklin Management a try. I'm confident you won't be disappointed!
