1 800 Accountant

I honestly wish there was a 0 star option I wouldn't even give them 1. This company is a complete money scam, I went through at least 6 different agents. I was told by a supervisor that my dashboard was locked because my agent had a heart attack and was in the hospital ( medical information should not be given out like that) every time they schedule an appointment they don't call or reschedule so much so that for the first time in my 32 years of life I had to file for extension and my taxes aren't even started yet.

I spoke to a supervisor named Jamie yesterday 6/21 who told me he would cancel my services and I would get confirmation and a refund to my card ( confirming my card number) in 1-3 business days. Only to get a call this morning telling me he was not authorized to do that and I can get a credit but not my money back. As a first year business owner I trusted that they were the best and now my business and personal takes still aren't done.

I'm going to have to fight in court to get my money back. Take your taxes elsewhere everyone at this company is a mess and they don't communicate with each other. I was also told in the event that anything went wrong I could go into the office and sit with someone, and now I'm told that's not an option. It's been nothing but lies and headache, and when u do get a supervisor they belittle you and talk to you like you are a child. I wouldn't recommend this company to my worst enemy.

I found them after going through a 3rd party referral source. Of course the best reviews were listed at the top. Had I taken the time to look further I would not have gone with them. They don't return calls, you can't even get someone on the phone. They take your money and then block you from ever being able to communicate. I've emailed the sales person several times for answers of which he helped every time. I'm now stuck and can't move forward, don't know how I'm doing in the business nor get my money back for services they are not providing. BEWARE!

The call ended before is started. Not only was the guy rude but completely talked over me the entire time. Told me to call back in a few months. I was interested in seeing what services you offer but the rude agent Derek Ames refused to answer even a general question. Just said he's not a CPA I can't answer questions. Well what's the point of the call. Wow I was told to make sure I had paper and a pen because I would be able to ask questions.

Even very basic during this call and get lots off information because you help start ups. We have revenue but this guy never bothered to ask. He ended the call based on me having our retail location. He has poor listening and communication skills. Poor attitude. Poor ability to answer even a single basic questions. Never talk about services available. Talk over me and loud. I was interested in the services you have but after this guy I will not be doing business with you now of in the future.

First they will take more than 30 days to get any type of return or tangible information, so that you are outside the trial period. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They do not even deserve ONE star, how they have a 4 star rating is beyond me. They hire completely incompetent accountants that have no clue what they are doing, they won't even have conversation with you.before they work on your returns. DO NOT USE THEM.

There are plenty of respectable companies out there. Even their "VIP" accounts have no clue what they are doing and don't even understand the concept of PEO companies, a common thing most small businesses use. Do not use them unless you make sure you can evaluate them within the first 30 days, or if you don't mind losing your investment.

Great friendly people who know exactly what they're doing! I enjoyed every minute I was in their wonderful office.

My business partner and I signed up for 1800Accountant in January of 2022 and we didn't receive very good service up until now. I decided to cancel the subscription and as expected, they do not issue pro-rated refunds for any remaining months that aren't used once canceled. Fine, I can accept that. What I absolutely cannot accept is how I was talked to when transferred to "the group that handles subscriptions" as I was argued with and talked down to.

Then I was told it's already canceled - low and behold, they didn't cancel it at all. There is no way to cancel on their website, and no way to remove my payment method from the site either. So I have to call my card company now to let them know any charges in the future from this company should not be allowed as they will be fraudulent. This was a so-so experience turned into an awful awful experience. Do not use this company

They made the entire process extremely simple. We're amazed at how quickly they responded to emails. We will be using this services every year! We highly recommend them.

They provide impeccable service and makes for a great filing experience. Any question is met with attentive care and professionalism. You can always trust them to get things done properly. Our experience is always positive and we can't recommend them enough!

"Disappointment" is a generous description of my experience with this company. The only reason that I signed up with them was because the rep assured me that I would be assigned to a specialist experienced in "Profit First" accounting. I paid $2515 for their annual service. The specialist to whom I was assigned had not heard of Profit First. I was reassigned to a different specialist, with the same outcome.

I left several messages for the initial rep, but she never returned my calls. I spoke with other reps asking if anyone in their company was familiar with Profit First, and each time was told "someone will call you back." Not once did this happen. Finally, I was told that no one in their company has PF experience. I demanded a full refund, as I was sold a blatant lie.

They "pro-rated" my fee, taking out $419 for the 3-4 calls on teaching me their software. What a rip-off. NOTE: 800 Accountant has their own accounting software which you are encouraged to use. This makes it very convenient for them to do your bookkeeping/accounting. However, if/when you leave their services, you cannot take your accounting register with you; only PFD reports. This, to me, is a red flag, as it is impossible to make corrections to your past accounting entries. Fortunately, I chose to stick with my own software.

They were extremely helpful and I am so confident I can be confident that the tax form has been complete. They were excellent at taking care of me and answering all my questions. Every time I go into the store, I am treated with respect with respect, professionalism, and respect. friendly people. They explained my tax return in simple words so that I understood.
