Never completed things when promised and I always had to contact every week to get them to follow up. Turned all tax info in on Mar. 1st (their deadline for timely filing is to receive paperwork by Mar 23) and left them an organized file with a list of questions needing answered. After 2 weeks, I had to call to see if they've even looked at my paperwork.
They had not. I wasn't expecting the return to be completed but thought he could answer my questions and give me time to gather any missing documentation. I called every week for an update only to be told they would get to it the next week. They still hadn't even looked over my stuff by the 1st of April and when I called for an update they said mine was complicated and needed to do an extension. Yet, when I hired them, I told them it was complicated and would require expertise and time to complete.
They are not qualified to handle complex items and their customer service is terrible. I asked for my deposit back since they did not provide a service AND any answers for me but he is claiming he earned it since he worked on my taxes for 6 hours. Yet he can't provide any documentation of what he did or any of my questions that he's answered.
He can't even send me an invoice for the money and work he's done so far. Very unprofessional. I finally decided to pull my account and have found a very qualified CPA that can handle complicated issues and is available for questions year round. Save your money and do your research on this one.
