Davis Associates - Darlene Davis

I have had the worst experience with them. They've done my taxes previously, and I had no issue. I reached out to them for assistance with another tax situation and they never return my calls. Now they aren't answering the phone. It's extremely disrespectful and disappointing seeing as how I've spent so much money with them previously. No communication. Nothing. It's been over a month. I would not recommend ever utilizing their services. Smh

Do not get your taxes done here. I literally waited 3 months for my 2020 tax return to be completed. Ms. Davis is always out of the office or out of town. She has entry level tax preparers doing the work for her and she signs off on their work, which she is never available to do. There is no concern or care for your personal tax situation. There is a lack of integrity and only interested in your payment.

Davis Associates has been in business over 20 years. In order to have a business be sustainable over a long period of time you must have workers who are deeply committed to your bottom line. Davis Associates has workers who care and are professional. This may be seen as a bias review due to my relationship with Ms. Davis and Davis Associates. Men lie, women lie, numbers don't. Ms. Davis has been in business for over 20 years and her longest tenure employee has been with her for 15. Nothing more needs to be said.

Ms. Davis and her team have the mental capacity and work ethic to tackle even the hardest and most intense projects. Rather that be through consistently delivering payroll, audits, or taxes your business, church or personal information is in secure hands at Davis Associates. Thank you Ms. Davis for your great service and to your HARD WORKING team.

I read the posting of Tina Johnson and I had to respond. I am a former employee of Davis Associates CPAs. I worked as a Firm Administrator covering many of the same duties as Tina. One thing I will say about Ms. Davis is that she is fair. She gives everyone a fair chance and will show you her expectations of excellence. She will show you the way she wants it done once and it's up to you to own it and grow it.

She gives great detail to the products and services that she provides, as well as ensuring that every client is treated with the utmost respect and service. Wouldn't you want this if someone was handling your taxes, payroll, or audits? There are many things that not only Ms. Davis would require, but many companies out here as well. Laziness, not being able to articulate complete sentences, using the proper grammar, or displaying yourself in a professional manner does not make a great impact to the client.

You mention that she wants you to read her mind. It's not that. She wants you to catch the vision of the company and run with it. This is what you should do with every employer you work for. No one will grab you by the hand everyday along the way. You have to take charge and own your position. I've had the opportunity to share with other employees as well and our day was filled collectively with teamwork and comradery.

At the end of the day, Tina needs to examine herself. Some employees of Davis Associates, CPAs have been employed with the firm as long as it has been open. NONE of them feel the way you feel or they'd left a long time ago. Re-examine your values, your work ethic, your attitude, your passion, and your reasoning for wanting to work for a company. It's more than a paycheck my dear. It's ownership!

I have Been a customer of Davis Associates for nearly a decade. The office is beautiful and welcoming. The staff is friendly, professional and most important to me as a customer. They have provided our organization Exceptional Accounting Services. I highly recommend this company.

Three 3 ago I allowed some other tax company to do my taxes "Big Mistake" 2021 Davis Associates I will be back in 2022,2023. There're very professional, knowledgeable on what they do. They're on top of the tax laws, regulations and much more. Thanks .

Davis Associates has been our CPA for our personal and business needs. We highly recommend Davis Associates because for the last 8 years we haven't had any issues after coming from a CPA that charged us high rates and gave us poor service. Our first time using Davis Associates services they were able to go back three years and get things that our original CPA either didn't know to get or didn't care to get for us.
