I have been operating in this industry for the past twenty five years, with a focus on personal and tiny business taxation. This is an area where I like to err on the side of conservancy. I realize that most people will tell you that if you are not audited within 3 years of filing your tax return, that you will probably not get audited for that tax year. However, I believe that we should maintain our records a little bit longer.

I have been working with Janice Hayman as my accountant for decades. She was referred to me by a big fan, and I have referred her to new fans. If I could give Janice 10 stars for kindness, generosity, and patience, I would. Even when I became bicoastal and started spending more time on the West Coast, I couldn't leave her. I even looked around, as I thought it might make sense, and I have tons of family out on the West Coast who offered referrals, but no one I approached could begin to hold a candle to Janice. There is just no one like her.
