Wally was the loving father of 11, grandfather of 14 and great grandfather of one. From 1958 until 1973, he was part of the original administration of the Illinois State Toll Highway Commission, serving as its Director of Finance. He attended St. Nicholas grammar and St. George High Schools and Loyola University.
