This review is not for on-site property managers of a Rozeboom Company portfolio locations. This review is for the parent company owning an array of apartment complexes in Denver. Kimberley Helton, Director of Operations, gave my family an ultimatum after we were reluctant to give up a plug-in AC unit. We live on the top floor of a SE facing unit.
It gets hot in the summer. As an old building, the AC is not as cool as a new complex. In the summer of 2021, with an average temperature in our unit over 85 degrees, we were given a plug-in AC unit to keep the bedroom cold (did not cool the entire unit). Now, in the Spring of 2022, while the AC was not on during a week of 85 degree temps and documented temps in our unit up to 83 degrees, we were once again given the plug-in AC unit. Rozeboom requested the plug-in AC unit back to accommodate another unit with a broken AC.
You can imagine my reluctance after enduring an uncomfortably hot summer in a "luxury" apartment complex. My reluctance was taken as insubordination (holding the plug-in unit "hostage") and Kimberley Helton stated that my family should put in our lease-termination letter. Thank you, Kimberley, for letting me know our 4-month old daughter and Wife should hit the road.
We shall. It is hard to find empathetic and responsive customer service in any industry and certainly in the Denver apartment arena given soaring demand that supports a too-big-to-fail business. That said, I recommend avoiding Rozeboom. Very disrespectful, Kimberley Helton.

Alice and Alan are hands down the best landlords I have ever had in my 14 years of renting. All of our issues were resolved within 12 hours, and at times before I even knew it was an issue! Most importantly, I've never had a landlord who truly cared for their tenants like these two, a sentiment that our neighbors shared with us the day we moved in and I agree with wholeheartedly. If we weren't purchasing our own home, we'd never move. I highly recommend renting from Rozeboom.
