Critical: Professionalism, Quality, Responsiveness I've left several messages with both the front desk and the CPAs voicemail over the last few months and never get calls back. Everytime I call I get one of two responses of either not here today or hasn't come into the office yet. Highly recommend finding someone else.

I own a distribution company and have been working with Maurice for over 20 years. His professionalism and attention to detail has helped my company stay in compliance and he's provided valuable guidance whenever needed. I highly recommend Exact AFS to anyone with a business or to anyone needing tax preparation.

I hired Kathy Villard (under the business name Villard & Associates at the time) in 2012 to help with a bad tax situation I had created. It was such an awful experience that I looked her up *seven years later* to write this review. The reason I had gotten so behind on my taxes was that my husband had become very sick and this had created financial complications that we weren't up to dealing with in the middle of his illness.
I let this go on for too long, until finally I was ready to pay an accountant just to help me out of this mess. I expected to feel tremendous relief. Instead, I ended up worse off than I started. Ms. Villard asked me intrusive questions about the nature of his illness; followed up my stunned answers with the cruel editorializing, "Oh, then he'll never get better"; and then offered me unsolicited life advice about how I may want to remarry in the future.
It was a genuinely traumatic interaction. I went home and cried, and never filed the taxes I paid her $150 for preparing because I couldn't bear to look at them. Much later, I went to a different accountant who charged much less money, treated me professionally, and also found that the taxes Ms. Villard had prepared were done wrong and needed to be redone. She is awful at her job, and frankly, based on my experience, as a human being.
