C A T S Tax Service

This is a very helpful place when tax services are needed. I ran into some troubles and needed some guidance and sound advice on what to do. I contacted C.A.T.S and representative Lina was excellent, she was the perfect person I needed. her tax knowledge was invaluable and she was super nice and made sure that I understood everything and made sure that my anxiety about my situation could be easily resolved. Has she helped me through many of the details and I am very satisfied with her assistance.

She always called back and followed up as as she said she would without fail. The service I got there I can't say enough it was excellent. Next time I file my taxes I'll be contacting C.A.T.S. Great job Lina thank you

I have been going to C. A. T. S. tax services for 6 years or so (since I've moved to OC), and I was always very grateful and happy with Deanna, she has helped me for years. Always available when I needed her. This last year my boyfriend was asking me to go to his guy, and I had told him it was not financially smart for me because he charges so much, and my taxes are very simple.

I requested a copy of my taxes digitally 1. So the other CPA could look at what I have going on 2. Because I always like a digital copy. Deanna took it very personal, and when I called her later to ask her a question about something else, and schedule an appt to do my takes in June she was very rude and told me to go talk to the other preparer I was going to.

I told her I was not going to another preparer, I decided not to, and she still just told me to go call someone else with my questions because she is not doing my taxes anymore. I was planning on continuing to use her, but I definatily won't now! After so many years I have to find a new place to get my taxes done. I'm so angry and bothered I want to give them 1 star , but I'm giving 3 stars . Only because how great they have been over the last 6 years.

C.A.T.S tax service is the best, Lina is great at providing the service I needed, she guided me through every step possible. I will work with them again next year.

I found Tammy at CATS on Yelp based on all her amazing reviews and everything said is absolutely true. She is very good at her job and knows the tax laws inside and out. She is able to answer any question thrown at her and doesn't hurry me or make me feel rushed. She is much more affordable than the CPA I used to go to and more accurate too (I used to receive those IRS correction notices occasionally with my older preparer).

After your first meeting, if you prefer, you can just drop off or upload your documents to a secure website. So convenient! She still is very much available for any questions and it's really based on your preference. More people should know about Enrolled Agents (EA). I'm so glad I found Tammy and highly recommend her.

I can't recommend C.A.T.S enough! As recent newlyweds, my wife and I were looking for a local place where we could jointly file our taxes for the first time. Tammy answered my email inquiry in short order, quickly followed up with a phone call, and discussed our options and the (extremely reasonable) fees involved. She helped us get set up with an online portal where we could securely drop our documents.

Everything was completed quickly and we had our tax refund back before we knew it. I've never met Tammy in person, but I absolutely give her and C.A.T.S. five huge stars for their professionalism, knowledge, and willingness to walk two beginners through the necessary steps. We'll be returning in 2020 for sure. Thank you!

Me and my Husband decided to try a tax service this year rather them doing them ourselves and we are very happy with our experience! Leena helped us out and has been so helpful and very nice. The receptionist was kind and explained questions I had as well. I definitely recommend going here for your taxes. Very stress free and quick, friendly service. Thank you both for all of your help!

Professional. Knowledgeable. Friendly.& they always keep chocolates on hand :D This is my first time using C.A.T.S. Tax Service. I was recommended to them by my mother. My tax preparer educated me on expenses I didn't know were deductible and that's important to me as a travel nurse. I will be receiving the biggest refund I've ever gotten due to the knowledge I received (glad I kept my reciepts).

In my mind, my tax preparer is my personal accountant, she just doesn't know it yet LOL! I hope to maintain a relationship with this business/family. They are certified ELITES in my book! Overall, I definitely recommend giving them a try. I will most definitely be returning to file with them again & to satisfy all my questions/concerns when it comes to tax preparation. Fast, friendly, and family owned! Lina was awesome and went out of her way to help me with filing my personal tax return. She searched every avenue to help me maximize my return. Very professional and helpful, and the office is beautiful! I would recommend this place to anyone. Thank you again.

I am not a customer of CATS, but I am writing this review from my experience recently when I contacted them for support and tax information. I am selling my home in Long Beach and was having problems understanding some paperwork the real estate agent and escrow company were asking me to sign. The paperwork was related to taxes. My real estate agent was not going to give me tax advice and suggested I asked my CPA - which I do not have one.

So my agent gave me Deanna's phone number at CATS for support. Apparently she does not have a close working relationship with my real estate agent, but has done successful business with her clients in the past. (word of mouth promoting capable people!) I was expecting to have to hire a CPA to get my questions answered, but when Deanna answered the phone, she was willing to give me all of the time I needed to become familiar with the paperwork I needed to fill out.

I kept waiting for her to say "You need to come in and we can review." or something to initiate a business contract, but she continued to donate her time to me. This is a level of service that I can only assume she carries in to her work with paying clients and I am now considering CATS should I go the CPA route for doing my taxes in the future. Deanna was well informed, professional, to the point, and generous with her time. If she represents the team at CATS, I highly recommend them for your tax support needs.

I'm going to start off with, I am incredibly tax stupid. I don't understand them and they confuse me. So therefore I decided this year that my husband and I were going to use Cats Tax Services. My husband missed filing the year before and we were confused on our 2013 taxes. We also got married last year so we were confused on how to file.

I called A LOT before I came down with the taxes. The receptionist is so incredibly nice. She was more than happy to answer my questions. I spoke to Deanna briefly to get the prices and see when I could bring them in. I was so surprised because it was so much cheaper than I thought it was going to be and a lot cheaper than other places. I brought the taxes in and I had some questions on the form and the lovely receptionist helped answer my questions. Deanna came out to get my taxes and I had a couple of questions, she may have been busy that day but I felt like she was rushing me and the way she was answering the questions seemed like I was some stupid girl bothering her.

I left that day feeling really embarrassed because of it. I have brushed it off though as she was having a bad day or was busy. I got the call that we could come pick our taxes up on Monday but we were going to have to wait until Friday when I got paid to pick them up. The receptionist said that it was totally fine. Deanna called me the first day saying she was going to be submitted the next day and they would be ready for pickup but she was going to call me when they were ready.

I never received another call from her and I just ended up picking them up that Friday. I dealt with the lovely receptionist more than I did with Deanna, which is fine, I know the first few months of the year are busy for tax agents. Everything was laid out perfectly explained to us in our packets. I do recommend them because they really good. I gave them 5 stars, even though I left the first day feeling embarrassed, because they were as patient as they could be with my stupid questions that I had a lot of. We will be using Cats Tax Services again next year to file our taxes.

We moved from Irvine and we were trying to find a CPA to do our tax. We read Yelp reviews and thought we tried this office. My husband called them on Sunday and the owner answered the phone. She was very busy preparing other clients's tax but she was willing to help us prepare our taxes, even though we did not get to see her, everything was done in timely manner. We did it over the phone and email. She did not charge us arm and leg like the other CPAs we used to go to. She will be our CPA starting from this year.

What can I say, been coming here for more then 8yrs. Tammy Giuliano is by far the best in the business, she is very smart, friendly and will do what it takes to get the job done correctly. Over the yrs now, I have my entire family now seeing Tammy, they all say the same, "she is great" Thank you Tammy!

As a professional business consultant and quickbooks pro I cannot recommend CATS enough. I have worked with Tammy and she is thorough, efficient, and knowledgeable. I look forward to using them with all my clients. BTW their pricing is very fair!

As a corporate administrator I have dealt directly with firm CPA's and used them to do my personal taxes for many years. When I got married several years ago I thought I would try my husband's tax person, Tammy @ C.A.T.S. Tax Service. I WAS SO IMPRESSED! I will never, EVER have anyone but Tammy do my taxes. She is a certified Enrolled Agent of the IRS (EA) and is right on top of all the new tax laws and those coming down the pike.

When you call her she takes all the time you need to answer your questions and if she doesn't have the answer (which she usually does) she gets it immediately. She is extremely proactive concerning tax planning and preparation while keeping her hand on the pulse of pending tax laws and legislation, which could affect a client's tax return.

I have been in Corporate America for well over three decades and would put Tammy up against any CPA or numbers person I have ever met; she would run circles around each and every one of them and her fees are so reasonable! UPDATES: 04/22/2012: My brother passed away tragically in January. His family always had his taxes done by a CPA I knew when I was in corporate.

Since Tammy does all our taxes now I decided to take my brother's and his daughter's taxes to Tammy. Not only did she do her usual, amazing job, she told me she would look at the prior year as my brother was probably owed money. His CPA should have filed his return as head-of-household (that is exactly what he was) and other things the CPA missed in the 2010 return.

We will amend after tax season slows down. My daughter moved to Nebraska after she was married in July 2011. Her husband is in the military and his taxes are a bit challenging due to his multi-state status. I called Tammy to see if she did multi-state taxes - of course she does! She did everything via phone calls and email! My daughter and her husband were delighted with their returns!

Hands down, the best tax service group out there. Okay, so I haven't worked with many, but after hearing the gripes and moans from many of my other friends and co-workers about the lack of service from their accountants around tax time, I have to give Kathy, Tammy, and team major props! For one, they actually answer your calls, even as the days lead up to April 15.

Sometimes I forget the time and call them at 8pm at night, and they'll pick up immediately. I hear about other accountants who dump you into the voicemail abyss and take forever to call you back.never a problem with CATS. They also give you really great, personal advice without putting their hand out for a fee any time they open their mouth. I've asked a ton of questions over the years about anything from 401k deductions and retirement planning to real estate tax implications and they'll answer over the phone like they're talking to their best friend.

Best of all, their rates are incredibly competitive - my tax return costs about half of what all my friends and co-workers have to pay! My family has used CATS for our family and business taxes for the past two decades, and I'll continue to send my returns to them even though I live 500 miles away!
