My mom and dad used this firm for several years. Tax information was provided timely and/or early but were always filed slowly. 2019 taxes were submitted in February but were not submitted until May. To date in 2021, the Federal refund has not been received and they have not offered any assistance to get status. Their services are on the higher price end but they have not been helpful. I would not recommend them.

I used this firm for several years, and had a great accountant named Worth Colvard. He was on the higher price end, but was very responsive, quick, and accurate. Worth unfortunately retired and handed my taxes over to a Donna Dillehay, a more junior person, and things went downhill. She took forever to do my 2015's, and either ignored my questions or charged me a la carte for them, often several hundred dollars.

My taxes weren't totally simple -- several W2's, some 1099 consulting work, and some alimony -- but they are far from "complicated". I'll say the final bill on the tax preparation was more than double the most I've ever paid, before or since, on my 2015 taxes. And than was only the beginning. I started getting fines and penalties the next year, and it took me until June of 2018 to get everything straightened out.

She'd ignored my questions about quarterlies, which ended up with me having to seriously scramble. She forgot to enter 2 of my 1099's, which hit me with penalties and taxes. I had withdrawn some 529 money, and she never told me I had to fill out a a form on that one. What truly upsets me is that she charged me extra for cleaning up the mistakes, blamed them on me, and then threw an extra high interest "service fee" on top of that for the month we argued about whose fault it was. I have moved to another accountant who is personable, reasonable, and accurate, and am so glad that's over with.
