Poor customer service and after calling three different times and leaving three voicemails, NO call back regarding my employer tax information. I guess since the payment for their service is not coming directly from me, they feel as if they have no obligation to return my call concerning receiving my W2 after my company has closed due to COVID! All three calls, within a week, leaving messages with one of the partners, but only to be brushed off. I'm glad I have my own CPA, but if I didn't, I sure hell would not use this company. Lack of professionalism and courtesy. That's enough for me to not do business with them.

Jacobs Cohen has worked on both my personal and professional taxes for several years. They have always been consistently professional and super easy to work with. They are always helpful and welcoming, willing to answer any questions, and make it easy and convenient to do your taxes. They are knowledgable about all kinds of subject matters that can help your personally or with your business accounting needs.

It's very impressive that they are always willing to offer their knowledge free of charge and never push you into anything you don't want to pay for and never blindside you with billing. The best part for me personally is that they have caught mistakes that other tax professionals have made on previous tax returns, submitted revised returns, and gotten me more money back from the Federal Government. I highly recommend Jacobs Cohen.

This firm is a joke! The staff are incompetent. The staff does not know the meaning of hard work all they do is sit around and play games and gossip and don't work on client files. One of the partners is a womanizer and doesn't work half the time. Scam artists to the fullest! Do not spend your money here. I repeat do not spend your money here. They complain and fuss when the client wants to schedule an actual face to face meeting and the things they say about their clients. BEWARE!

Interaction with Jacobs Cohen was a dream. It is so nice to work with a company that listens to your needs. The staff was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable and they have a very convenient downtown location. If you need a CPA or other Accounting info they are your guys.

We've been working with Jacobs Cohen for a few years now, and it has been the easiest, most responsive team we've ever worked with. We've tried several different firms in Nashville who were big and corporate and never seemed to complete our taxes on time, and we were constantly having problems with the IRS. Since we've moved to Tommy and the Jacobs Cohen team, everything is done well, done on time and no hassle. We've moved all of our business and personal needs here and everything is seamless and running smoothly.

I started using Jacobs Cohen in 2006 and it became clear I should also use them for my personal finances and taxes. They're very professional, but not at all stuffy and very easy to work with.

My interaction with the folks at Jacobs Cohen has been very pleasant. Everyone I have spoken with has been very helpful. They have a great grasp of their industry and are willing to bend over backwards to be of assistance. Communication has been very good and consistent. Any questions I have needed answered have always been referred to the proper people. I have been pleased with the results.

I hired this firm on the recommendation of a friend, to file an IRS offer on some unpaid taxes. Tom Jacobs, one of the owners was the person I met with at my first meeting. I initially paid $5000, thinking, from my conversation with Mr. Jacobs that this would be the total cost for this service. A letter was written and I was given a laundry list of documents to get to the firm then I took in the check, and it was all sent in to the IRS.

After the initial meeting with Mr Jacobs, all communication was with an assistant. I talked to Tom Jacobs, a total of maybe three hours, over the two and a half years it took, before I finally gave up on this firm EVER getting a final answer from the IRS Two and a half years later ( after my offer was rejected and I tried appealing the rejection ) I was told the IRS would not answer Mr. Jacob's assistants repeated requests for a final answer.

Out of sheer frustration I found another accountant to take over this mess. At that point, Jacobs and Cohn told me that I owed them an additional $5000. and that that, was actually 50% of what I really owed them, but they were giving me a deal, in hopes that I would hire them as a business management team later. So $10,000. later, these people just threw up their hands, and bailed out. The new accountant had an answer from the IRS in a week and did my taxes and charged about $1000. This firm is a big, showy incompetent rip off!
