I used this firm for many years doing my annual taxes. In the year of my divorce the submitted tax refund was rejected by the IRS at a later date and the IRS attached my return from s later year to pay the perceived debt. My Freedman committed that this was a mistaken assessment on the part of the IRS and that he would address it. 5+ years later it was yet to be addressed and when I contacted Mr Freedman he told me he had sold the business to H&R Block and was no longer involved.
Other accountants want to charge an hourly rate to address the issue. Net, Mr. Freedman did not keep his word and I am financially encumbered due to his lack of effort. The funds he cost me would have paid for my portion of my son's wedding.
