We've been using Halpern for about 4 or 5 years and they are absolutely the best! They promptly respond to all your questions all during the year, even through out the pandemic. I find creating folders and pasting tax information in their portal super easy. They go out of their way to provide you with past years returns the same day you request them. The cost is competitive but more importantly we value their services. Zack Halpern is our main contact and he is the best.

Halpern & Associates is exactly the local accountant we were looking for. They are welcoming, friendly, experienced, and didn't mind both times we brought our infant: it's a family atmosphere. Their preparation fees are reasonable and they are VERY generous with their time, they don't rush you, and will sit with you until all of your questions are answered.

We were using turbo tax before we started using the Halperns and we were always nervous that we were doing our taxes wrong or not utilizing all the deductions we could for our business. Halpern and Associates made doing my taxes so EASY! Since I live on Long Island, I sent them all of my paperwork and they took care of the rest. Any questions they had for me or I had for them I was able to email and get a quick response. Don't bother with the DIY tax options. Go to the pros for your tax return needs! Highly recommended!
