Benson & Williams, CPA's, Inc., PS is a family owned and operated firm. The business was established by Hayden Williams in 1985. Hayden's wife, Donita Williams, EA (retired), also worked in and managed the firm from 1984 until her retirement in 2004. The firm is currently owned and managed by Hayden Williams, CPA, and daughter, Tina Benson, CPA.

Tina decided to follow in her father's footsteps and began working for him in her junior year of high school in 1986.
Have you just started a new business? Did you know expenses incurred before a business begins operations are not allowed as current deductions? Generally, these start up costs must be amortized over a period of 180 months beginning in the month in which the business begins. However, based on the current tax provisions, you may elect to deduct up to $5,000 of business start-up and $5,000 of organizational costs paid or incurred. The $5,000 deduction is reduced by any start-up or organizational costs which exceed $50,000.

Sent numerous requests for information through their contact sheet on their website. ZERO RESPONSE! Sent an email to their listed contact. ZERO RESPONSE! This is just the height of laziness and client disinterest. If this is your best first impression I hate to think of what working with you must be like! And who would actually do business with people who can't even be bothered to manage simple things like a contact sheet. How nice for you that you have no need for clients, referrals, or new business!

I appreciate the response by the owner. I am out of the area so I cannot update my review. please decide for yourself and leave a glowing review as things may have changed. had my experience been different I may have done business here as I received some royalties recently and was looking for a tax person. to the owner please update any information for your company previously you couldn't discern your business on maps properly, anyone can post pictures I would have offered. as you only have three pictures available may I suggest that you add some pictures to compliment your listing. for me this is a hobby. please treat everyone who walks thru your door as a potential customer. ORIGINAL REVIEW, (STAYS)went in, asked to post additional info on maps. very rude and unprofessional. would not do business here. signage outfront is posted as Williams & Schoer Inc. just wanted to correct available info as you can not find by advertised name
