This is one of the worst CPAs we've had the displeasure of dealing with. After compiling numerous documents well ahead of deadline, some duplicated, when we moved from GA to TX, they filed an extension, then brushed us off since we moved to TX, which had nothing to do with the taxes owed to GA whatsoever. These people are rude, indifferent and will file an extension, then drop a client like a leaf in a windstorm.
A ridiculously unprofessional couple doing taxes by the seat of their pants. Find another CPA or be forewarned about what you can expect. ALSO, as to the business owner response, it is a complete falsehood. We provided all needed information requested, and never once got a request for more info. My wife constantly asked if they needed anything else, and we provided every documentation they requested. The response is bogus. Furthermore, our new cpa is great, and agreed that we were treated improperly, and that she had more than sufficient info to complete the tax return.

I've been using Jeff Jackson to prepare my taxes for 6 years. I can assure you that he is a professional accountant in every aspect. He stays current with the tax code and is always offering suggestions for how to save on my taxes and improve my business. I highly recommend him. We were charged $100 for a yearly tax planner that we did not ask for and did not need. Jeff also charged us extra for plugging in my educator write off and my son's $17.00 childcare. It took him less than 2 minutes while we sat there chatting with his wife. Quoted us less than $300 and charged us $400 to do a basic tax return. When I questioned him about his fee he listed off all of these extra things that he did, yet he knew our situation before he did our taxes.
I asked for the $100 yearly planner fee back and I got a flat "no." I would not reccommend him for any financial services. I find him and his wife to be the most unethical people that I have encountered since I moved to Woodstock 6 months ago.
