Setting up a QuickBooks chart of accounts or payroll items can be a confusing and daunting experience. While there are default charts of accounts available in the Quickbooks interview, it is much more efficient to let a professional set up your chart of accounts to your specific needs. One big problem with an incorrect setup is that Quickbooks won't give you the information that you want. For example, you know what your gross sales are - why doesn't that number appear in your income statement? Something else to consider is training.
What if I can't pay my income tax? You can set up a payment agreement with the IRS. To start the process, call them at 1-800-829-1040 or file Form 9465 either with your tax return or file it by itself after your tax return has been processed. We can do this for you. How does the gift tax work? Most people will not be subject to the gift tax. It applies to you only after you have made cumulative gifts of hundreds of thousands, or even millions, of dollars.
