A tax lien is a lien upon your property that has been imposed by the government for delinquent taxes owed or a failure to pay taxes. Tax liens can be incredibly intricate and can vary in detail depending on individual situations. It does not mean that the IRS will seize your property, but it does ensure that it will appear on your credit report and that the government gets first right to your property over other creditors.
When money is owed to the IRS they will collect it by any means necessary. That includes taking a large portion of your paycheck before you even get to see it. Wage garnishments, also know as wage levies can be devastating to your bank account. While limitations on these wage garnishments do exist, employers do not always provide employees with the forms needed to be completed and returned within 72 hours.
Offers in compromise (OIC) are agreements between a taxpayer and the Internal Revenue Service that settles a taxpayer's tax liabilities for less than the full amount owed. Taxpayers who fully pay the liabilities through an installment agreement or other means, won't qualify for an OIC in most cases.

I've been using Don for over twenty years for all my tax needs. I've started two LLC's and both Don and Brian have helped me with all my tax and business needs. Brian has handled all my personal investments and you'll be hard pressed to find two more upstanding people to take care of all your tax and personal investment needs.

We used Mock and Associates for our yearly income tax return and we've been very happy with their service and professionalism. They are attentive and have uncovered issues with how our tax returns used to be done and we're glad they were able to correct them. We even use them for our business tax returns and given that they are tax experts/specialists and have a lot of experience dealing with the IRS, audits, and such services is a definite plus. Highly recommend!

Great with the numbers and helping you and your business use the system to your advantage. Can be difficult to get ahold of sometimes but once you're in his office, you're his full attention. Can be slow with flexible deadlines but won't let you down when it counts. Totally recommend Brian Mock for all my Sole Proprietor and LLC friends.
