Baroumand & Associates

I have been going to Mr. Baroumand for 16 years to do my taxes and I could not say enough good things about him and his office. I have also been using their bookkeeping services for the last 5 years and I am very happy with their service. I highly recommend Baroumand & Associates for your tax and bookkeeping needs.

Stay away from this place. They do not know how to prepare returns. They filed our taxes without our review and approval. The return had many errors and had to be amended. They also managed to have errors in the amendment and we had to hire a tax expert to deal with all their errors. They have no idea what they are doing in this office. Save yourself a lot of headache and go somewhere else.

Critical: Professionalism, Quality, Responsiveness They have no idea what they are doing in this office. They actually filed out return without our permission and it ended up having so many errors that it resulted in significant issues. Ended up filing a complaint with the IRS to get their license pulled. Stay away from this place.

This place has not idea what they are doing. They make a lot of errors in return preparation, don't keep up with tax laws and are very understaffed. We had to amend our return due to their incompetence and it was a nightmare to get them to return our calls. We ended up going to another tax expert and filed a complaint against Baroumand and Associates. Stay away from this place.

I was interested in finding a tax service to do my personal returns and my family business bookkeeping/ returns however while waiting for my son to be finished with his p/t next door an employee and or relative that works there was getting yelled at by what appears to be a family member and opened the door yelling "Don't talk to me anymore & slammed the door hard" It literally made the France 98 pictures on the wall in the waiting area on first floor move.

She the employee and or relative that also works there raced out the door facing the street with her phone in hand calling someone and a yogurt of some sort She was crying and visibly upset. She then returned to the back door from where the parking lot is and took a few deep breaths before opening the door to the Danville office. This to me wasn't a good impression since I was sitting on one of the chairs near the stairwell and when you run a business you can't have any type of explosive drama or employees / relatives yelling at one another when there are potential clients that are there near your place of business seeing everything unfold.

This to me isn't professional and I don't wanna do business with a company that allows this type of behavior to go on. I hope they realize that if this type of behavior persists that other potential clients won't want to do business with them either.

We have been using Baroumand & Associates to do our business bookkeeping and taxes, as well as, our personal taxes for over twenty years. If ever you have questions throughout the year, he is always available. We are extremely pleased with Mr. Baroumand and his associates. He is knowledgeable, professional and efficient. Doris M.

AVOID this place. The owner bad mouthed me when i went back to his office for the 3rd tax correction. He was the one that did my taxes wrong and i was the one that got yelled at! UNBELIEVABLE.

I have been going to Baroumand & Associates for almost 20 years to do my taxes and would highly recommend their bookkeeping services, in addition to their tax preparation services. Mr. Baroumand use to work for the IRS and truly is the best, not to mention EXTREMELY affordable! I highly recommend them.

I have used Baroumand & assoc. a few times for preparing my taxes. However, I chose to go to another CPA mostly due to unprofessional conduct of this business. Every time that I had contacted this business and its owner (Homi) I was simply yelled at for various reasons. I am a paying customer of his business and is he wants to treat me this way, I better off go somewhere else and it what I did.

My mom, sister, and I traveled from San Jose to consult with Mr. Baroumand yesterday. Not only did he not answer any of our questions professionally he was very condescending. We were not sure why we were treated in this manner. The only thing we can think of is that he had a rough tax season. After about 10 minutes he tells us he has to go and that we are wasting his time.

He told us that he has 4 people he is paying at his house while he was consulting with us. Not sure what that had to do with us or our consultation since he gave us an appointment at that time. Then he instructed us to pay $100 as we exit the door. We paid as we were all in so much shock we did not have any response to his unprofessional conduct. We should not have paid. He provided us with nothing. I would highly recommend avoiding this firm and this CPA in particular.

This place is great! I have been using them for over 10 years and they are the best. Mr Baroumand always does a very thorough job and his prices are extremely reasonable. I wouldn't trust any one else with my taxes.
